Introduction

Through Conduit Gate Valves designed to API 6D and 6FA are custom manufactured by Holy Valve and supplied with Flanged, Butt Weld, Socket Weld, Hub Connectors, Compact Flange or other proprietary connections. Pressure ratings up to ANSI #2500Lb, temperature ranges from -46 to +175 Deg C and bore sizes from 2”to 42". All Holy Through Conduit Gate Valves have their sealing surfaces hard faced with tungsten carbide and can be configured with either Pneumatic or Hydraulic Actuators. All valves are available in standard and exotic materials.

Features of Pneumatic Through Conduit Gate Valves

1.Seats performance characteristics for low pressure, two-way isolation, and adjustable sealing valves.

2. The calibrated special alloy springs are adopted, and the seats have the functions of elastic pre-tensioning and pressure intensification. The spring pre-tensioning force provides the sealing specific pressure under the conditions of low pressure and low pressure, and realizes the sealing performance under micro pressure and low pressure. With the thrust of the upstream medium on the seat, the valve front sealing of the upstream seat and the downstream seat can be realized forced sealing, so the valve does not leak even at the minimum pressure difference.

3. Stem sealing structure

Our company adopts a combined sealing structure of a variety of sealing materials for stem sealing. The structure includes the back seat welded on the bonnet, and the back seat and blow-out prevention structure is formed by using the cone surface of the stem. A self-tightening sealing ring is installed at the bottom of the packing, which can use the medium pressure to self-tighten and compensate the packing. The packing adopts the combination of V-shaped packing and expanded graphite packing, which can realize fire proof and compensation for packing because of wear. An isolation lantern ring is set in the middle of the packing to form a sealant injection channel for internal and external sealing sealant. We also arrange a closed packing adjustment device at the upper end of stuffing box, which can pre-tighten and compensate the packing.

4. The stem packing adopts the combination of rectangular expanded graphite and V-shaped PTFE packing, which effectively utilizes the adjustability of the V-shaped packing and the fire resistance of the graphite packing. The packing gland can be used to pre-tighten the packing and use the inner cavity pressure to self-tighten the packing. With the back seat structure of the stem, better fireproof performance can be obtained.

5. Each bonnet of the valve made by our company must pass specific and accurate calculation, we can provide the body-bonnet sealing calculations.
